The Furniture Makers’ Company appointed as charity partner of Workspace Show
The Furniture Makers’ Company, the City of London livery company and charity for the furnishing industry, has been appointed as the official charity partner for new exhibition Workspace Show.
The inaugural edition of Workspace Show will take place from 4-5 November 2021 at London’s Business Design Centre, at the heart of the UK’s commercial interiors community.
Founded by Esha and Charlie Bark-Jones, Workspace Show is dedicated entirely to the commercial space community and present over 100 exhibitors and more than 70 product launches across the office, education and healthcare sectors from the world’s leading brands.
With a theme of ‘re-designing tomorrow’s commercial interiors together’, the show aims to unite architects, designers, developers, contractors, facilities managers, procurement managers and more in one place to explore and share the latest industry thinking.
As part of the partnership, the Workspace Show team will work with The Furniture Makers’ Company to promote its charitable activity, including the Personal Support Grants it is providing people who have been impacted by COVID-19.
Jonny Westbrooke, CEO of The Furniture Makers’ Company, said: “We are delighted that Workspace Show has chosen The Furniture Makers’ Company as the exhibition’s charity partner. Raising awareness of the charity among companies and individuals within the industry, ensuring people know we exist to support them during difficult times, is an ongoing task, which is why collaborating with key industry events like the Workspace Show is of vital importance. We thank them for their support and look forward to working with them.”
Esha Bark-Jones, show director, said: “Workspace Show is proud to be partnering with the best in the industry and we are excited to announce our partnership with The Furniture Makers’ Company as our official charity partner that is doing a great job by supporting the furniture industry in these difficult times. As the UK’s event dedicated to the commercial interiors sector, we are looking forward to bringing the workspace professionals together later this year in November at the Business Design Centre, London.”
