We admitted four liverymen and two corporate liverymen to The Furniture Maker’s Company in a ceremony on Thursday 20 June during our Court Meeting at Furniture Makers’ Hall, London.

The liverymen and corporate liveryman admitted were:

Liveryman: Matthew Dwyer

Matthew Dwyer is the managing director of Burgess Beds. Matt started his career at S Frankenhuis and Son and worked for a number of filling solutions providers including Vitafibres and Enkev Natural Fibres before moving to Burgess Beds.

Liveryman: Daniel Hopwood

Daniel Hopwood is the founder of Daniel Hopwood studio, a London interior design practice. Daniel is a judge for the 2D Design Guild Mark category and sits on the Bespoke Guild Mark committee.

Liveryman: Donald Stevens

Donald Stevens is the principal for SHD Consultancy. Donald commenced his career as carpenter and joiner before moving into construction in the 1970s. He then moved into education and was an examiner for the institute of carpenters for a number of years.

 

Corporate liveryman: Jose Formoso of Crofts & Assinder

Jose Formoso is the UK & European sales account manager for Crofts and Assinder. Jose’s previous involvement with The Furniture Makers’ Company was as attendee on the Young Professional Industry Experience in 2015.
