Support the Witherslack Group’s Future Ambassadors programme
We are pleased to announce that we are working with Witherslack Group, a leading provider of specialist education and care for young people with special educational needs, to promote its Future Ambassadors programme. Through Witherslack Group, we hope to awareness of the career opportunities available in the furniture and furnishings industry to its students.
The Witherslack Group provides specialist education and care for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, communication difficulties and complex learning needs, and has sites and schools across the country.
The Witherslack Group is seeking volunteer ambassadors who would be willing to visit one of its schools or children’s homes, three to four times per year, to inspire and inform their students of career opportunities in furniture, as well as provide an annual visit to your workplace.
A document outlining the ambassador scheme as well as a map of its schools and partner schools across the UK is attached. You can also view an ambassador scheme case study video.
