Success for South West shooting event

A Simulated Game Shooting Day, organised by Past Master Paul von der Heyde, as part of our South West Region’s local activity raised £879 for the charity.

The event took place on Saturday 8 March and brought together 18 people for a spectacular day of shooting at Somerset Driven Shooting, located in Exmoor.

Commenting on the event, Paul said: “It was a glorious day with great company, fine weather, plenty of good food and drink, and challenging shooting.”

The Furniture Makers’ Company operates nine regional committees across the UK, including East of England, Central, North East, North West, Yorkshire, South West, South East, Southern, and the newly established Wales Region. Each committee is committed to hosting a range of fundraising and networking events throughout the year, welcoming both members and non-members to support the charity’s initiatives.
