Spotlight: DGM 180 Modulo by Dylan Freeth

Working with the team at Design Insider, the online magazine run by the British Contract Furnishing Association, we have produced a series of short films about some of this year’s Design Guild Mark holders.

The films explore what design means to the individual and what influenced them when creating the piece.

In this first film, we hear from Dylan Freeth, furniture designer at Ercol, about the striking Modulo cabinet – awarded Design Guild Mark 180.

Modulo is built around a single basic solid oak cabinet carcase which can be specified with either doors and drawers, doors and shelves, drawers and shelves or just shelves. Each option is available oriented left-handed or right handed.

The cabinets are available individually, or can be stacked up to three high, in any combination of the customer’s choosing.
