Panaz employee donates cash prize to Furniture Makers

A selfless Panaz employee is generously donating his £1,000 Employee of the Year prize to The Furniture Makers’ Company in acknowledgement of his son.

John Logus is General Manager at Panaz’s Raleigh, North Carolina office in America and has been employed at the company since February 2015.

John was named Employee of the Year in May and requested that the £1000 prize was donated to The Furniture Makers’ Company in the name of his son Dean.

The annual award is available to all Panaz staff and recognises outstanding commitment to the company, demonstrating initiative and innovation, courtesy and care for other employees, and continuous personal improvement.

A statement from Panaz said: “John was nominated along with six other employees by the senior management team and was awarded the accolade for exemplifying all aspects of our key principles, as people who work with him will attest.”

Commenting on why he donated his prize, John said: “I am thankful to what our industry has given back to me and my family over the years.”
