New North West fundraising chairman

Liveryman Jan Turner has taken over as chairman of our North West region fundraising committee.

Jan succeeds Karen Fairhurst, who has successfully established the North West region, and will work alongside our part-time northern fundraising coordinator, Louise Hicks, to help organise our annual North West fundraising events, including a dinner dance, clay pigeon shooting day and a golf day.

Jan said: “I’m looking forward to working closely with Louise to raise funds for this important industry charity. I’m aware that taking over from Karen means that I have some big shoes to fill – she has done a fantastic job getting the north west region off the ground.”

Jan is a partner and director at Skipton-based AKA PR.
