We are delighted to welcome three new corporate liverymen to The Furniture Makers’ Company.

Master Ben Burbidge admitted the new corporate liverymen to the Company at the court meeting on Thursday 15 December at Furniture Makers’ Hall, London.

 

The corporate liverymen admitted were:

Andy Humphreys

Andy is the UK & Ireland regional director within the Herman Miller EMEA leadership team. He started in the furniture industry in 1998 as an account director with Kinnarps and then joined Herman Miller in 2000 as part of the A&D Sales team. He went on to become global accounts director before moving into his current role in September of this year. Andy lives in London with his wife Becky and two daughters. Outside of work Andy is a keen cyclist and mountain-biker who regularly competes in long distance events, he recently achieved a cycling personal best for riding 116 miles climbing over 10 000 feet in one day.

 

Graham Dean

Graham is the EMEA Operations Director for Herman Miller, International office and contemporary furniture designers. He started in the furniture industry in 1981 with Bath Cabinet Makers, a Christie Tyler Group company where he trained as a cabinet maker before joining Herman Miller in 1984. Graham has in BSc (Hons) in Management through The Open University. He has held a number of positions across Herman Miller both in operations and other areas including a 4 year period based in Asia developing the businesses asian capability. His recent success has been the delivery and set up of their new operational facility in Melksham Wiltshire, a Grimshaw Architect designed facility bringing all of the UK operations under one site.

 

Bronagh Day

Bronagh is head of HR for the EMEA region of Herman Miller, International office and contemporary furniture designers. Bronagh has been a HR professional for 25 years, and prior to joining Herman Miller in 2011, has worked in industries such as banking, telecommunications and health. Bronagh is a graduate from the University of Ulster and a member of the Institute of Personnel and Development.
