National Golf Day 2024 raises £7.6k

Furniture industry colleagues from around the UK flocked to Northamptonshire in July to tee off at the National Golf Day, our longest running charity event, sponsored by Bensons for Beds.

Almost 50 golfers took part in the tournament at the Northamptonshire County Golf Club – ranked in the UK’s top 100 courses – on Wednesday 24 July. The day started with breakfast which was followed by an 18-hole Stableford competition. After a great day of play, competitors sat down to a two-course lunch, with the day culminating with a prize giving ceremony, charity auction and raffle. The event raised a total of £7,663 for the charity.

The winners of the competition were:

• Team winner               Ocee & Four Design
• Team runner up          NEJ Stevenson           
• Individual winner         Jim Sutherland
