National Fishing Day raises over £1k

We’d like to say a huge thank you to VitaFoam for once again organising the annual National Fishing Day, which raised a fantastic £1,027 for the charity.

The event took place on Saturday 16 July at Meadowlands Fishery in Ryton-upon-Dunsmore.

The results for the day were as follows:

Winning Team:
1^st Multiyork with a combined weight of 263lb 1oz – £100 prize sponsored by Platt and Hill.

2^nd Eyres of Worksop with a combined weight of 239lb 6oz

3^rd Harvey Jones with a combined weight of 194lb 5oz

Winning Individual:
S. Brumpton from Eyres of Worksop. Total weight 89lb 6oz – £100 prize sponsored by Relax Seating and JCS Upholstery.

Best Fish:
Rob Satt from Harvey Jones. 16lb 10oz – £100 sponsored by United Fillings and Interfoam.

The next Furniture Makers’ Fishing Day match will be held on Saturday 15 July 2017 at Meadowlands Fishery.
