The Manchester Furniture Show (MFS) is returning to Manchester Central from 10-11 July, 2024. As the essential summer touchpoint for the industry, MFS brings together top brands and high-quality buyers for face-to-face opportunities to reconnect, refresh strategies, and secure sales for the upcoming season.

Being held at an iconic venue like Manchester Central, the show offers the perfect location for brands to access those hard-to-reach Northern retailers. As the biggest sourcing event of the summer MFS enables the furniture industry to unite, do business and network. Returning after a short hiatus, MFS is back due to high demand from the industry with 75% of buyers saying they would return – ensuring a successful comeback for the summer’s biggest show!

MFS serves as a retailer’s one-stop shop for success, connecting buyers with a diverse range of established and emerging suppliers. With MFS already tracking 30% ahead on visitor registrations, MFS will see high-quality buyers attending from the likes of B&Q, Bensons for Beds, DFS, Dreams, Housing Units, Leekes, Oak Furnitureland, ScS, Sofology, Stollers, The Very Group, plus many more. Brands can network with unique visitors as 20% of visitors only come to MFS, so exhibitors are guaranteed new business as MFS reclaims its place as the essential mid-year touchpoint for the industry.

VIP visitors will experience MFS in style with access to the VIP area of the Spritz Bar, sponsored by Claimlane, where they can do business in a relaxed setting enjoying complimentary refreshments, cloakroom and Happy Hour. Over the show’s 2 days visitors can forge valuable partnerships, source high-quality inventory, and discover the latest innovations across all furniture categories, with a special focus on the in-demand upholstery and living furniture sectors.

This year’s show floor will feature carefully curated trends and hot products. For the first time, At the Helm will showcase two trend installations at the entrance of the show and will also be the show’s competition partner, where one lucky attendee will win a piece of furniture from At the Helm’s latest collection. The newest designs will also be on show from the likes of Alpha Designs, Bluebone Furniture, Dappr, Decortie, Dutch Imports, Incanto, Lebus Upholstery, Kettle Home, Mini Divani, Heritage Furniture, RS Furniture, Sofaitalia, Slumbernights, and Whitemeadow, among others.

Living room furniture and upholstery favourites will take centre stage. Buoyant Upholstery will present their new collection of British-made, high-quality, and timeless designs. La-Z-Boy, the world’s favourite recliner company, will launch their latest collection, while Baker Furniture showcases contemporary and traditional bedroom, dining, and occasional furniture. Premier Housewares, a key supplier of design-led, high-quality products since 1988, will be on hand for retailers and designers seeking perfect homewares. Ashwood Designs will showcase beautifully crafted sofas that blend technology with traditional workmanship and sumptuous fabrics.

In addition to essential mid-year product sourcing, MFS offers two days of unprecedented summer networking opportunities. Visitors can engage with +100 brands and mingle at the Summer Solstice Show Party held on Wednesday evening from 6pm at The Junction, which will open for the first time to host all attendees for an evening of drinks, sponsored by Furniture News, food and music until late. The Women in Furniture Network will return on the second day of the show to host a brunch event from 11.30am where Melinda Whittington La-Z-Boy Incorporated’s President and CEO will share her career highlights.

Join the furniture community at the must-attend sourcing event of the summer, as the industry looks ahead to another prosperous season. Source, network, and be inspired in Manchester this July.
