Major road improvement project for Austin Friars

From Monday 23 February, for a period of eight months, Austin Friars will be closed to all traffic to allow for the re-paving of footways in York stone and the carriageway in granite setts, raising the carriageway to footway level, enhancing the soft landscaping, providing new seating and installing new energy efficient lighting.

Pedestrian access to all premises on Austin Friars will be maintained throughout the works.
