Liveryman takes on 212-mile South West challenge

Liveryman James Hudson, commercial director of Gallery Direct, is preparing to take on an epic 212-mile cycling challenge across Somerset, Devon and Cornwall to raise vital funds for Children’s Hospice South West.

Over three days, James will join a group of fellow cyclists to tackle some of the region’s toughest terrain, including steep hills and challenging moorland routes, all in support of the charity’s work with babies, children, young people and their families.

Children’s Hospice South West provides hospice stays, emergency care, palliative care and end-of-life care through its three hospices: Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm in North Somerset and Little Harbour in Cornwall. The charity offers specialist support to families facing some of life’s most difficult circumstances, helping them make the most of every moment together.

James is funding all of his own expenses for the challenge, ensuring that every pound donated goes directly to supporting the charity’s services.

Speaking about the fundraiser, James said: “I’m cycling 212 miles over three days through Somerset, Devon and Cornwall with a group of like-minded people. We’ll be taking on some very steep hills and crossing moors along the way. I’m proud to be supporting Children’s Hospice South West and helping to raise funds for the incredible care and support they provide to children and families across the region.”

The fundraising campaign aims to help Children’s Hospice South West continue delivering essential care and support to families when they need it most.

Supporters are encouraged to donate and help James reach his fundraising target, with all proceeds going directly towards the charity’s work across the South West.
