Lamello – Step 2 It silver sponsor

Swiss independent family-run business Lamello AG, based in Bubendorf, develops, produces and markets joining system solutions for wood processing companies.

We are delighted that Lamello has signed up as a silver sponsor of our Step 2 It fundraising campaign, which is running from May 2021 to April 2022. Step 2 It aims to inspire individuals and companies from the UK furnishing industry to organises sporty fundraisers in aid of our charity.

Shaye Chatfield, Lamello area sales manager international, talks to us about why they are supporting the campaign.

We are thrilled to be taking part in Step 2 It. It’s a brilliant initiative that will offer financial and practical support to those whose livelihoods have been threatened by the pandemic. We want to help make a different to those working in the furniture industry and by joining forces with such an incredible cause, we’re hoping to raise money and increase awareness for the charity.

Tell us about the event you are planning.

We’re inviting Lamello partners and customers from around the UK to join us in a sponsored 51-mile walk (one mile for every year Lamello has been in business). This can be done over multiple days – completed individually or in your support bubble – with all proceeds going to the Step 2 It fundraising campaign. All we need is for you to get in touch with your Lamello representative and we’ll arrange the rest! It couldn’t be easier. So let’s rally together and get the industry moving.
