Liveryman and First Assistant Dids Macdonald, OBE., CEO of ACID (Anti Copying in Design), has been inducted into the Design Week Hall of Fame for championing design law reform.

Dids joins such design luminaries as Sir Jony Ives, Paul Priestman, Margaret Calvert, Dinah Casson, Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby and Sir John Sorrell, CBE.

Launched in 2015, the Hall of Fame recognises individuals within design who have made a significant contribution to the industry, have provided inspiration and forward-thinking, or who have simply created consistently brilliant work. Design Week aims to tell their stories, recognise their achievements and share their inspirational thinking.

On receiving her award, Dids said, “I am hugely honoured and very proud to be invited to enter the Design Week Hall of Fame by such a talented group and amongst such august names. My special thanks, too, are to Design Week who consistently champion the value of design excellence and the importance of intellectual property, keeping it high on radar. Thank you so much!”
