Fellowship for liveryman

Joanna Knight, liveryman and chairman of our Climate Change and Sustainability Committee, has been appointed as a Fellow of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and has received Chartered Environmentalist status.

Formed in 2023, the Climate Change and Sustainability Committee includes representatives from throughout the furniture and furnishing sector and has hosted a series of events to promote greater understanding, learning and collaboration.

“I am truly honoured to become a Fellow of the Institute,” commented Joanna. “I am passionate about driving change through knowledge sharing and learning. I look forward to working with others and continue to support commitments towards enhanced environmental management and greater sustainability.”

Joanna has over 35 years’ experience of working in the furniture industry and, in 2001, was a founder director of a company which led the field in the lifecycle management of furniture. She is now an independent sustainability consultant and co-founder of The Sustainable Design Collective.
