Encourage your local MP to attend APPFIG meetings
We are urging members to encourage your local MPs to attend future All-Party Parliamentary Furniture Industry Group (APPFIG) meetings.
The APPFIG exists to promote the role of manufacturers and the importance of the UK furniture industry to protect jobs and investment, while also facilitating informed debate amongst parliamentarians regarding all aspects of the industry.
Please find below a draft email provided by the British Furniture Confederation to send to MPs to encourage them to come to future APPFIG meetings. If you can contact your local MP to raise awareness of the next online APPFIG meeting – which is also the AGM – on Wednesday 29 March from 3.00-4.00pm, this could help increase attendance.
