Design Law – The Acid Test is a new forum on Wednesday 4 November for designers, manufacturers, and creatives, which aims to provide insight, give legal practical advice and raise awareness of design infringement and intellectual property.

Hosted by the commercial law firm, Taylors Solicitors and campaigners ACID (Anti Copying in Design), this free event will be held at the ARTZU Gallery in Manchester, established as the most progressive gallery space in the north, an inspiring venue for art lovers and designers.

The speakers are Tony Attard, OBE, FloD, FRSA, founder and group CEO of flame-retardant fabric producers Panaz; Tony Catterall, leading copyright lawyer from Taylors Solicitors; and Dids Macdonald OBE, Chief Executive of ACID.
