Corporate member named a preferred consortium supplier
Corporate member Designer Contracts has been named as a preferred supplier to the Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC).
Established almost 20 years ago and with over 6,500 members, the CPC is owned and run by the further education sector. It provides members – including colleges and institutions, universities, sixth forms, academies and schools – with specialist advice. This includes best spending practices, and how to obtain value-for-money through its team of procurement experts.
The collective spending power of the CPC allows members to access savings that can’t be obtained through an individual institution, via 64 framework agreements.
Designer Contracts was awarded a place on the framework as a preferred supplier for the supply and installation of floorcoverings. It covers contract flooring, domestic grade and hygiene treated carpets, entrance matting, wood flooring, domestic and safety vinyl, linoleum, vinyl and carpet tiles.
Designer Contracts managing director Peter Kelsey said: “We are thrilled to have been named as a preferred supplier for the second time to the CPC. We have gained valuable experience over the past 25 years working within the education sector, both supplying appropriate floorcoverings and offering expert advice to customers.”
The company operates across 15 UK regional facilities. As well as flooring, the company provides curtains and blinds, furniture and lighting, and operates a showhome and contract-focused interior design services division.
