City of Oxford College hosts virtual Creative Festival
The City of Oxford
College hasn’t let coronavirus stop it from celebrating the incredible work of
its Creative Industries students as the college took its annual Creative
Festival event online earlier this month.
The festival showcases
the achievements of the institution’s creative students studying Media, Visual
Arts, Performing Arts, Music and Furniture courses.
The virtual event went live on Friday 10 July and includes the work of 70 furniture students. It will remain online for the rest of summer.
The college said: “This is a celebration of work from the City of Oxford College Creative Industries Faculty 2019-20. We are incredibly proud of our students, whom, throughout lockdown, have continued to work in challenging circumstances to bring this inspiring collection of work together. Instead of holding our usual exhibition within college, we will be presenting all student work in a dynamic online gallery.”
