Achieve & Partners, the specialist awarding and end-point assessment organisation, has given an update on recent and upcoming changes to apprenticeship standards.

Amanda Moore, managing director of Achieve & Partners, said: The new Fitted Interiors Installer apprenticeship is live and the first apprentices are now on programme. This newly developed apprenticeship is attracting big interest and predictions are that this will be a big hit with employers and training providers. The standard has been developed to provide installers with a dedicated apprenticeship across many different industries from kitchen fitting, bathroom fitting, bedroom installers and shopfitting to name a few. The apprenticeship should not be confused with the pathway in the Level 2 Furniture Manufacturer apprenticeship. This bespoke apprenticeship is quite different in its scope, content and breadth. Assessment of the apprenticeship is in the workplace, although training throughout the programme can be on and off the job. We are pleased to see the funding band set at £11,000 per apprentice.
