Bespoke Guild Mark chairman to give talk at open day
People interested in studying to become a furniture maker can sign up to attend the Robinson House Studio open day next month and hear from Bespoke Guild Mark chairman Marc Fish.
Robinson House Studio was started by Marc after launching a career in furniture making in 1996 and seeing a need for high quality tuition.
The event will take place on Saturday 4 August from 11am-4pm at the school, which is based in Newhaven, East Sussex.
Marc, along with others from the industry, will share their expertise and knowledge while showcasing the courses on offer at Robinson House, which vary from 12 weeks to two years.
The school also regularly runs weekend courses covering a huge variety of topics, including an introduction to hand tools, laminating, dovetails, and making your own hand plane.
Visitors to the open day will have the opportunity to talk to both staff and students who are already studying.
