Bed Show Gala Dinner raises £2.6k for charity

We would like to thank all of the attendees to the Bed Show’s Gala Dinner for raising £2,652 for our industry charity.

More than 500 people from the industry attended the dinner on Tuesday 19 September at the Telford International Centre as part of the two-day show.

The Master Dr Tony Smart MBE attended the event and spoke to guests about the work the Company performs in the areas of welfare, education and excellence.

The bed industry’s annual awards were also announced to the winners by comedian Meera Syal,

The winners were Hypnos for Bed Manufacturer of the Year (over £10m turnover); Duvalay for Bed Manufacturer of the Year (under £10m turnover); John Cotton Group for Bed Component Supplier of the Year; Bensons for Beds for Bed Retailer of the Year (over £5m beds turnover); Prestige Beds for Bed Retailer of the Year (under £5m beds turnover). The Judges’ Choice award went to BekaertDeslee.
