Axminster Golf Day raises near £4k

The 2024 Axminster Golf Day, organised by our South West region, raised almost £4,000 for our charity.

The annual event, principally sponsored by corporate member Axminster Tools, took place on Tuesday 23 April and was once again held at Lyme Regis Golf Club.

Fifteen teams competed in the tournament with representatives from Axminster Tools, Halstock, Francis Clark LLP, Crofts & Assinder, Ergochair, NEJ Stevenson, Foot Ansty LLP, Toolbank, Lukehurst, Shesto, Creative Solutions, Liberon, and The Furniture Makers’ Company.

The overall winner of the tournament was Andrew Tice from Foot Anstey. The team winners were James White, Chris Chapman, George Pack from Halstock and Andy Pirie from Ergochair. The ‘nearest the pin’ winners were Harry Trick and James Gaisford from Francis Clark

A total of £3,829 was raised from the day, which included an auction and raffle. We would like to thank Mrika, Bosch, Veritas, Fuji, Ergochair for donating prizes.
