100% Design returns to London Olympia
Leading design trade fair 100% Design returns to London Olympia this month (21-24 September).
Now in its 22nd year, the show will present national and international exhibitors across five sections: Interiors, Workplace, Kitchens & Bathrooms, Design & Build and Emerging Brands.
This year’s event will explore the theme of ‘Experience’, which considers the many ways in which design guides, frames and improves the ways that we live, work and consume.
Talks with 100% Design has been curated by the Design Museum as part of its ‘on loan’ campaign, bringing the museum out in to the world and the design community.
The talks will feature discussions exploring trends in contemporary practice and the future of design, as well as giving a glimpse of what to expect from the new museum when it opens in Kensington on 24 November 2016.
Also on show will be a selection of pieces that were awarded The Furniture Makers’ Company’s Design Guild Mark for 2016.
Renowned designer Simon Pengelly has designed the special feature, which will showcase 15 of the 19 products awarded the prestigious prize, including Simon’s own UNNIA Range of chairs.
