Sylva, designed by Jones + Partners for Stiwood, is a sculptural lounge chair that blends refined visual impact with a fully considered circular design approach. Available with either a fully upholstered finish or an exposed wooden backrest, Sylva adapts to hotel lobbies, refined contract spaces, and design-forward interiors. The chair is engineered for longevity: semi-permanent mechanical fixings enable easy disassembly, repair, and reupholstery without specialised tools, allowing users to replace components rather than entire pieces.
Compact, disassembled transport and a reduced component palette minimise material use and carbon footprint, while locally sourced materials further reduce environmental impact. These design choices ensure the product remains adaptable and relevant as interiors evolve, supporting long-term sustainable use.
