Silta is a beautiful high work table system combining aesthetics with outstanding power and technical features to support a variety of work and meeting functions. Silta’s design has been driven by the changing needs of modern spaces. The name Silta came from the Finnish word for bridge; a place between places. Flexibility is key and people want furniture that can morph and change depending on how it needs to be used in that instance. Silta can be used for nomadic working, for impromptu meetings, as a place to charge and connect, or a welcome addition to hospitality environments. Workshop charm fused with modern technology makes it truly unique. An elegant structure, beautiful materials and considered details. Architectural tie bars not only enhance Silta’s charm, they also provide incredible strength. Personal perimeter power is integrated into the frame leaving the work surface clear. A single braided power lead with leather detailing runs up Silta’s leg for a functional, minimal aesthetic. Brushed aluminium hooks keep bags off the floor and belongings close to hand.
Established in the 1970’s by the Vaghetti family, Allermuir has become a worldwide favourite with designers and specifiers alike. A unique combination of state of the art manufacturing technology together with traditional hand finished expertise, allows them to create beautifully finished and detailed furniture collections. Allermuir now recycle all of the five predominant materials used in modern furniture and re-manufacture where possible, often gifting to charity and local communities.
