Two Rising Suns Cabinet

The straight eucalyptus veneers give the impression of rising (sun)light and opening the doors repeats the dark/light contrast. Inside, the bookmatched Ziricote drawer fronts depict a landscape with two rising suns. Traditional woodworking techniques like piston fit drawers, sunbursts, inlays and handsawn dovetails as well as unique design features should differentiate the piece from mass-produced furniture with 90 degree angles. Dark and rich Ziricote, shiny silver stringlines and drawer bases of soft/ tactile Aniline leather are supposed to add elegance and exclusivity.
