The Devon chair is a low, wide, occasional chair designed by Chris Eckersley, and handmade in our workshops. It’s in English Ash from Herefordshire with a faceted seat in beautifully-figured Scottish Elm.
About
Chris Eckersley is a British artist and designer who originally studied Sculpture and then Design at Central Saint Martins College, London. His work covers drawing, installation, three-dimensional design, research into measurement and proportion, and designs for furniture. Chris is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Fellow of the Learned Society of Extra Ordinary Objects, and is co-founder of the experimental Bodging Milano project.
