Description
A generously proportioned cantilever chair made from tubular steel, with a plywood seat and backrest. Archer respectively references the epoch-defining tubular steel chairs first produced a century ago, while featuring several details that make it resolutely modern. The design utilises the material elegance of formed tubing to give the chair the right amount of spring, providing both comfort and a little dynamism. The use of semicircular forms in the foot, seat and backrest, which creates three aligned arcs when looking from above, gives the design a unified look.
