Description

Designed by Pearson Lloyd for Teknion, the Aarea Work Lounge features a synchro-tilt mechanism with three lock-and-tilt positions that allow for the seat back and cushion to recline at different rates while keeping the user’s feet on the floor. The height-adjustment lever provides a range of 4” to accommodate various desk and table applications, while the four-star base with glides provides a clean, professional aesthetic. Slightly large armrests add additional comfort and high and mid-back offers speak to the chair’s versatility. The chair’s lighter design promotes user mobility. Aarea conforms to the natural shape of the body, delivering tailored ergonomic support through its bespoke 3D-knitted backrest, crafted from knit that uses retrieved marine plastic to minimise virgin materials and waste. Available in 11 colourways, the knit back is flexible and readily conforms to the shape of the body, creating seamless support through the tensions inherent in the knit that doesn’t lose its shape.
