The Master’s Outing to Normandy
The Master, Brian Ahern, has planned a superb outing to Normandy in October. He would be delighted to welcome all members and their guests to join him and Annette on this very special trip.
The outing will include visits to some historic WWII sites as well as a day at liveryman Tim Gosling’s historic and beautiful château which he is painstakingly restoring. Further details about the outing are on the attached document.
Cars can be left securely at Emsworth with a coach picking up members from there, and the trip will include the return ferry journey from Portsmouth to Caen with a cabin on the way out.
We have a booking for almost the whole hotel so will be able to reserve your rooms for you on a half board basis, but payment will need to be made direct to the hotel on check out.
Final details for the rest of the trip are still being arranged, but the cost per person to include the return ferry booking, outbound cabin, coach, tours and lunches is estimated to be about £390 inc VAT per person.
