National Golf Day 2026
We are delighted once again to be able to hold our National Charity Golf Day, very generously sponsored by Bensons for Beds.
Set at the prestigious Northamptonshire County Golf Club – ranked among England’s top 100 courses – this event promises a memorable day on a championship-calibre course. Known for hosting national amateur competitions and Open Championship qualifiers, the club offers a classic heathland layout featuring rolling woodlands, gorse, heather, and towering pines.
Designed in 1909 by the legendary Harry S. Colt, who also designed Wentworth and Sunningdale, it’s a true golfer’s delight.
As well as the usual great day out on a stunning course, our National Charity Golf Day is a brilliant way to support our charity, enabling us to do even more to support those in need in our industry, educate young talent and inspire excellence.
The day includes a Stableford full handicap competition, which is open to both ladies and gentlemen, breakfast on arrival, a delicious two-course dinner, prize giving and raffle.
Registration, bacon rolls and practice will be from 11.30 with a one or two tee-off start from 12.45, and the day should finish at about 8.30.
Please see the attached application form. Names of team members can be sent at a later date it you don’t yet have full details but would like to reserve a team place.
If you are unable to attend, you can still support the event as we have many affordable sponsorship and donation opportunities.
Your sponsorship will attract attention on the day as well as publicity in the trade press. Further details are on the application form.
Book now by completing the application form and returning it to sally@furnituremakers.org.uk. Please feel free to pass on the information to your colleagues, friends and business contacts.
