Burbidge was established in 1867 by the Great Great Grandfather of the current Managing Director Ben Burbidge. Originally work involved making wooden sports equipment however this soon progressed into other industry areas and, before long, a much larger scale production.

Today, Burbidge is recognised as the UK’s leading kitchen and accessories manufacturer. Still family owned and managed, Burbidge manufactures and distributes a wide range of wood, painted, foil wrapped and bespoke-size kitchen door frontals and a full range of accompanying accessories. Virtually all products are manufactured on site at its headquarters in Coventry, rather than imported from abroad. Currently, Burbidge is the market leader with a 20% share of the UK kitchen door market.
