Modulo is built around a single basic solid oak cabinet carcase which can be specified with either doors and drawers, doors and shelves, drawers and shelves or just shelves. Each option is available oriented left-handed or right handed. Cabinets are available individually, or can be stacked up to three high, in any combination of the customer’s choosing. Concealed height adjusters in the legs allow levelling, and accurate alignment of cabinets if arranged side-by-side in horizontal runs. Further customisation is possible through selection of finish – cabinet carcasses are available in natural oak, dark stained oak or black. Doors and drawers are always natural oak, and feature finely grooved machining, adding texture and a quiet, tactile graphic detail.
Dylan Freeth is a furniture and product designer based in London. Whatever the scale of project, from one-off to industrial production, his aim is always to create considered, engaging, beautifully detailed and hard-working products.
Since 2011 Dylan has been part of the in-house design team at Ercol Furniture, where he has designed and developed a number of award-winning, commercially successful products and ranges.
