Chamfer Springleaf Table

Two ideas in one. The chamfer comb joint idea is one that has come from years of playing with joinery and woodwork to make expressive details. The joint is very strong structurally. By slicing it into a wedge shape the strength is added to with the elegance of a very slim edge profile on the table. Light, strong and demonstrative, is what I was after.

The Spring Leaf ™. extension system is my own take on a reversed drawer leaf table. This system can be used in many applications. it is intuitive and you can’t catch your fingers in it.
