Eight new freemen admitted
We were delighted to admit eight new freemen at a recent admissions ceremony.
The ceremony took place at Furniture Makers’ Hall on Tuesday 17 December.
The new freemen are:
Rollie Attard
Rollie Attard is the chief operations officer at Panaz. Rollie started his career as an analyst before moving to Gousto as an operations manager and subsequently spending some time at Amazon.
Daniel Fairburn
Daniel Fairburn is a partner at Out & Out Original. Daniel started his career as a brand manager before becoming a product manager at ScanCom. In 2013 Daniel moved to his current role as a partner at Out & Out Original.
Paul Glover
Paul Glover is the owner of Paul Glover Ltd. Paul is a graduate of Rycotewood College and following his graduation he worked at several high-end workshops. He subsequently founded his own workshop.
Rob Livingstone
Rob is the operations director at Silentnight Group. Rob started his career at Hypnos Beds as the contracts and technical manager and progressed to operations director at Hypnos. Rob started his current role at Silentnight in 2016.
Moe Redish
Moe is freelance furniture designer and maker. Moe started his freelance work having graduated from London Metropolitan University with a degree in Furniture & Product Design. Moe is the deputy chairman of the Young Furniture Makers working group.
Sam Ryan
Sam Ryan is a furniture maker, designer and restorer for Sam Ryan Furniture. Sam previously studied furniture conservation, restoration and decorative arts at Buckinghamshire University.
Rebecca Savage
Rebecca Savage is the head of marketing and communications at the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman/ The Furniture Ombudsman. Prior to starting at TFO, Rebecca worked in marketing roles for MTS Global Ltd, the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency and Planday.
Chris Ward
Chris Ward is a designer-maker for Woodward Designs. Chris originally started his career in software engineering before retraining as a furniture maker at the Building Crafts College.

Without exception, each new Freeman said they wanted to give something back to the industry that they love and discussions have already taken place about how we can benefit from the diversity of their skills and experience.”
