We admitted nine freemen to The Furniture Maker’s Company in a ceremony on Tuesday 18 December which was followed by our carol service at St Mary-le-Bow Church.

The freemen admitted were:

Joanne Coe

Joanne Coe is the owner and director of Living Room Design Ltd, this follows a 20 year career in furniture retailing as a buyer and product developer.

Martin Corton

Martin Corton is a director of Rainleaf & Rainleaf Holdings Ltd. Martin commenced his career in carpentry before moving into flooring.

Alex Dymock

Alex Dymock is a financial consultant and serves as the honorary investment adviser to the Furniture Makers.

Malcom Gibson

Malcom Gibson is the group managing director of furlong flooring. He has previously worked for a number of large carpet manufacturers.

Sally Graham

Sally Graham is the director at Studio Britain, having previously been head of product development and director of buying for John Lewis.

Abdollah Nafisi

Abdollah Nafisi is a designer and maker at Nafisi Studio. He set up his workshop in 2013 producing bespoke commissioned pieces.

Francesca Rossi

Francesca Rossi is currently working as the PR & marketing manager for Rogue Projects.

Guy Stanton

Guy Stanton is the CEO of Kesslers International. Kesslers produce retail displays.

Donald Stevens                                             

Donald Stevens is the principal for SHD Consultancy. Donald commenced his career as carpenter and joiner.
