Big Shots raises £23,000 for industry charity
Industry hotshots turned out in force earlier this month at the annual clay pigeon shoot fundraiser Big Shots and helped raise around £23,000 for The Furniture Makers’ Company, the furnishing industry’s charity.
The annual fundraiser, which is now in its 23rd year, was once again held at E.J. Churchill Shooting Ground in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire on Thursday 8 June.
A whopping 33 teams, made up of representatives from across the furnishing industry, took part in this year’s fundraiser. Attendees delighted in a day of traditional clay pigeon shooting as well as some novelty stands, including axe throwing, paintballing marksmanship and, everyone’s favourite, the blunderbuss.
The Furniture Makers’ Company would like to thank main sponsors Furniture Village as well as the other companies that kindly supported Big Shots through sponsorship or a donation to the auction and raffle: Amazing Venues, BrightHouse, Cabinet Maker, Cheffins, The Clare Family Trust, Colourfast, Creo, Celtheath, Davy’s of London, Fare of London, J H Haskin & Son Ltd, Knoll, Peroda and ViSpring.
