We are delighted to welcome three new corporate liverymen to The Furniture Makers’ Company, the furnishing industry’s charity.

The admission ceremony took place at Furniture Makers’ Hall on Thursday 16 March after the Company’s court meeting.

The three new corporate liverymen admitted were Paul Winn, manufacturing account manager at Lectra; John Peerless, a board member of the British Institute for Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI); and Claire Walters, operations manager at the BiKBBI.

Corporate Membership provides opportunities for companies involved in the furnishing industry to directly participate in the industry’s main charitable organisation.

Membership contributions are critical to the Company’s ability to deliver much needed support for support, education and excellence.

The admission ceremony was followed by a black tie dinner.

After the dinner, Master Ben Burbidge presented Ben Latham of the 2RIFLES infantry unit, the Company’s military affiliate, with the Best Young Rifleman award.
