Liveryman Theresa Raymond, one of the forces behind the successful January Furniture Show has together with her fellow director Laraine Janes, have announced that both the January Furniture Show and the Manchester Furniture Show have become part of Clarion Events.

Making the announcement, Clarion Events said that the partnership secures the long term future of both events by bringing together the deep market knowledge and relationships of the founders Theresa Raymond and Laraine Janes, with Clarion’s resources and marketing expertise in delivering world class retail B2B events.

Theresa and Laraine have been involved with furniture fairs for more than 30 years and will continue to run the events with the support of their highly regarded team.

Theresa said: “This is a very positive step for the future of both the January and Manchester Shows and we are delighted to become part of Clarion.  They will bring added expertise with a detailed understanding of the retail and furniture markets and their involvement secures the longevity of  both shows.  With an impressive list of events including Home & Gift, Harrogate and Top Drawer and a great knowledge of the B2B furniture and retail supply chain they are a perfect fit for us.  Both Laraine and I will be very much hands on with both shows and will drive their continued success.”
