Master Ben Burbidge said: “We are absolutely delighted to have hosted a visit from Lord Mountevans at Furniture Makers’ Hall. As an organisation, we’re committed to fostering and supporting the furnishing industry by nurturing the skills and expertise of students, assisting those in need and by championing excellence through our Guild Marks and other awards. It was fantastic to highlight the crucial work the Company performs.”

Lord Mountevans, the Lord Mayor of London, commented: “It has been a pleasure to visit Furniture Makers’ Hall today. I was both impressed and encouraged to hear how the Company is promoting high standards and supporting young people to learn craft skills and pursue careers in the furnishing industry.”
