City Livery Concert

Sunday 5 July

7.30pm

Barbican Centre

Sir Simon Rattle will conduct the London Symphony Orchestra, students from the Guildhall School of Music, and children and adults from the local area in this special evening held to celebrate arts in the City.

Tickets are £40, including a programme. £10 of the ticket price will be donated to the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.  For priority booking call the Barbican Box Office on 020 7382 7211 and quote “5th July City Livery Allocation” to access the special seats.

HAC and Royal Yeomanry Concert

Thursday 23 July

6.00-7.00pm

The City’s two Army Reserve bands – the Band of the Honourable Artillery Company and the Band of the Royal Yeomanry – will perform a joint concert in Guildhall Yard, which is open to members of the public.  Please spread the word to friends and colleagues to promote this unique City event.

City of London Church Walk

Thursday 30 July

The Worshipful Companies of Constructors and Plumbers are holding their inaugural Church Walk to celebrate the work of Wren and other architects, support the City churches and foster fellowships with other liveries.  Places are filling up fast so if you are interested email the Clerk of the Constructors’ Company now.

Inter Livery Tennis Competition

Wednesday 9 September

Starting at 11.0am, prize giving at 7.00pm

The Worshipful Company of Feltmakers is holding its popular annual inter livery tennis competition at the Queens Club, London W14.

The competition is open to all liveries, and each Company may enter one or two teams of mixed doubles, with a maximum of 40 players permitted to play this year.
